Rivers, MB | My "special" ability used to be to run out of spray solution with 1/2 a pass across the field. That was before we had a sprayer that had a volume counter on it so that I couldn't tell how much I had left in the tank.
We have numerous fields right along the highway. We seem to have a highly disproportionate number of stuck tractors within view of the highway for some reason, and always at a time when most of your farming neighbors happen to drive by!
Have you also noticed that it always seem to take forever to have the other truck/tractor come to pull you out.
We have also learned to take a quad in the back of the truck when scouting fields to see if they are dry enough to seed because it used to be an annual rite of passage in spring to walk home a few miles to get another truck or tractor. | |
