Why wouldn’t step dad be paying this? Was his mother receiving social security? Sounds like more than one person in this story don’t have the best of ways.
Don't know why the old man isn't paying for it. She was 65 so assume she was SS since she was pretty poor. Smoked her life away. Kid wasn't raised the best. Step dad didn't care. Real dad was MIA. Best help I have ever had around here. Good Christian guy just has never been taught how to manage money, keep a check book etc. Just lives day to day. It's the type of person you are willing to help. Most are rotten any more. He appreciates every bit of help you give him. Never had a good job and probably never will. His GF is was wackey and bi polar and on meds. The baby was too much for her and couldn't take both. House was too small and parents got tired of him.
