I’d say I live in the wrong state, and I’d do the whole thing for about $40K including installation :). Your little B&B gets about $2k a night for a 5night minimum stay, right? All above board wink wink.
Your contractor got $50/ft to install 12” tile? Wow.
Your engineer got $150/ft to watch them install this tile? There’s something wrong with that. Sure, they probably put it out for bid and jumped through hoops but that is crazy nuts.
You get sideways with another one of these and apparently you can afford my travel costs. I can get licensed in IA for probably a couple hundred dollar fee and reciprocity (they recognize IL licenses, IL recognizes IA license, but you still have to pay the registration fee).
