southern MN | I think that is a can of worms my county would not want to open.
Water flow and all is a pretty touchy subject and taxes are a pretty touchy subject; combine the two and you can have fireworks amongst the neighbors pretty quick.
The ditch would need to be rebuilt to spec but a licensed contractor, yadda yadda.
Now im pretty sure over the years a lot of folks have done some ditch repair on their own without mentioning it to anyone and all was fine, but you threw in the getting credit part.......
