| Be sure to get to the south side of the mountains. As one mentioned check out Biltmore Mansion and then go west from there. Maggie Valley, NC has the Wheels Through Time motorcycle museum, I really enjoyed that, could spend hours there. On west from that is Cherokee, there is a Harrah's Casino Resort and Hotel there. Next is Bryson City, NC, from there you can find the mountain roads to Clingman's Dome, a very cool scenic overlook. On farther west is Lake Fontana and Fontana Dam, one of the nicest fishing lakes in NC. Those are just a few, als be sure to check out the National Park and all it has to offer.
