S.C. Kansas | Dry around here...s.cntrl ks..While bike riding, saw a few wheat fields being cut..
Watched this old j.d. combine..have no idea the year..had a fixed
unloading auger, pull into the wheat and just cut the hell out of
it...love that stuff! My family had around 5 - 6 hundred acres of
wheat in a tpical year. Back then we were considered a mid size
farm...Not now! 46' and a 49' masseys. Majority of the wheat
was customed cut.
Good chance here...for ran over the coming days,
if the timing is good a lot of the wheat will be cut and the newly
planted corn and beans will benefit.
