Yeah, I can't believe how people think coons are such a wonderful animal. I put them in the same category as mice, rats and the NAT #1 enemy, snakes in machinery.
One of the side benefits to sidedressing NH3 is pouring a little smoke down rat holes. If you time it right, mama, papa and the little ones come boiling out blind.
