Eastern Iowa
TS79, I can't say that I noticed the HDOP level when I lost my RTK fix however while running through the field, I don't recall ever seeing it at 1.8 but then again it shouldn't be that high with 5+ sats. I'll be sure to check it if I lose my RTK fix again. Have you used it enough to see if there is any other time that seems to have low sat coverage? Seems to be somewhere around 2:30ish pm and 7ish pm give or take a little that we see low sat coverage. According to the Trimble planning software, it indicates that the 8pm time frame could have low sat coverage rather than the 7pm time frame that we've seen problems. The software does show the 2:30 pm time frame as having 7 sats available which should be fine... if you really can see all of them. One of the stranger things I saw was on Sunday night when we lost our RTK fix 2 or 3 times between 9pm and midnight. When RTK fix disappeared, the Insight still reported 8 or 9 sats. Didn't take long to get it back but still mystifying.
