| I agree with jedeka. I had a similar problem this winter. Temps were barely above freezing in the daytime, and the pressure gauge would not come up. While trying to figure out what was wrong, found one tank rusted out, and if you knocked on it, it didn't sound like the others. Water had accumulated in it, and froze, not letting air in to it. My fault for not draining them. Most of the rust damage was prob done long before I ever set eyes on the truck. Any way, the relief valve on the dryer was going off, yet no tank pressure. Relief valve and purge are separate on the dryer. Purge valve is what dumps air, when the tanks are up to pressure. At least I think those are the right name and jobs for the two valves. Is the dryer dumping air all the time ? If so, would think your dryer needs serviced. Or exchanged for a few more $. | |
