I don't know.

I do know that planting wheat into fescue works better if you take the wheat seed money and buy/ spread some nitrogen late August or September IF it rains.

It may work better in crabgrass if you can get it grazed off and planted timely.

The suggestion to buy more cows and buying your hay is a good one, depending on your goals.
