As for final cut on highline/Vermeer, dry straw I am not sure about but balage would be about 3-4 inches or smaller depending on type of grasses/plants, and how fast you shred it. The bale king will get about 4-6 inches usually too but again, depends on how aggressive you have it set to shred and type of material being shredded. Highline CFR 650 with fine chop running at about 32,500 CAD and bale king 5200 (New model) running at 22,500 CAD. High line has more maintenance and is more finicky about being balanced then bale king, and bale king has much heavier flails. They both have there pros and cons though. |
