It has been a really good fall for much of the area. The local feed lots and everyone's pens look much better than normal for this time of year and everyone seems to be bragging about how good the gains are. 

We are getting really dry though and all the ponds are showing it. Even the rye fields haven't been able to take advantage of the warms temps like they should have. I hate to say it, but we need some good wet snow in January and February.
