Missouri

We're pretty dry, but you couldn't buy a better December so far.

These first two ~8 month olds are part of an "old school" forage type project. It's been interesting watching the brisket move back in with each generation of concentrating on volume and moderation through proven traditional grass type genetics. I don't know that you could cram much more guts into the one on the left.

Something a little more "modern" in apperance.

Pair of f1s showing their typical Red Angus x Shorthon blend of red.

Had some fun last weekend and took my father out for some fresh air and a dispersal sale. Health has him retired from the day to day grind and the day was too long, but I think the sale put a bit of a pep back into his step. This little guy's mother was the target, but for being ~10 days old I think he's coming out of the stress and relocation and is going to be quite a bit better than I thought he was on sale day.

A short video of a line bred bull being brought up to hopefully lock even more of his pedigree into the herd. He's supposed to be be later maturing, but I think he's coming along a little ahead of schedule.
