Anderson County Kansas | Also in the 80's a lot of money was borrowed for on variable interest. Guys have a lot more options and most fix rates now. None of my neighbors that I know the story on went broke because of high price ground they bought. The ones I know of had to much operating money borrowed and to much new equipment. My best friends family lost everything, and it wasn't the land they bought that broke them. I don't see land crashing any time soon, it may level out in some areas but I don't see a big down turn. It is still getting higher right here in my immediate area, but I see it flattening out here.
