Southwest Illinois | Year to year comparisons are interesting but probably don't tell the story as too many weather variables exist. You mentioned you got them in late, which this year in our area was a big penalty.
I have had some Extend beans on the farm the last 3 years and generally I have been happy with yields. I won't say they are better yielding than the RR2 system, but my weed control costs were cut in half. So I am curious why your costs doubled.
The good news is, it is your farm and you get to plant whatever you want. | |
