fringe areas cut acres? The message of this year is that new genetics are making the fringe areas even more competitive where land costs are already low. Look at Brazil for instance, they're doing just fine with 80 bu corn & 20-30 bushel beans When those new northern ports get finished and Highway 163 gets paved all the way north. the Midwest won't be able to compete given their land & input costs, no how.
