Subject: check out page 41 - stagflation ahead???

Pittsburg, Kansas
I apolgise for my assumptions and tone.

I am only on page 33 of the full report but if a person can avoid the gold indications within there may be additional information concerning commodities in general. The research seems pretty thorough and good at least for the first portion, at least to me.

I was a teenager in the late 60's and early 70's so was not attuned to economic matters much, but as I recall it was inflationary and a pretty good time to be farming. Those that did not overplay their hands did quite well and cleaned up on bargains created during the failure of the 80's. Most people remember farming in the 80's to be a terrible time. But those that operated wisely and built up cash rather tha n debt in the 70's did quite well.

I would not be surprised to see a repeat some day. When? Who knows. Not me for sure.

John

Edit: there is a relative chart of the 74 inflation on page 41 of the download PDF.
