S Illinois | Yes I read the article and the first thing I did is to check out the charts and the data they are composed of. When charts must be manipulated to that degree to fit a narrative, major alarms go off. Almost any and every chart can be manipulated to fit that same exact data. If one must change the x axis to that degree then the comparison holds little value. Most likely any and every market chart has that same exact chart setup at some point . But it sure make a good visual to support their view. As to the second chart, it is likely equities are over valued, but there are two ways to rectify that and my guess would be the decline of equity prices rather than some major commodity bull run(see early 2000's). | |
