North End I-15 | I bought land with a contract for deed . It was in escrow account . Deed stayed in sellers name till last payment made . You pay the real estate taxes. Cant be used as collateral as you don't own it till last payment made. Make sure the seller owns it free and clear. No Cloud on title .
If there is no prepayment penalty you could at some point find a lender to pay off the contract and refinance to get to any equity you have built up. Mostly not a good idea. | |
