waaaay east central Colorado | Good call, Russ. You couldn't see it, but there was a little bitty pit in the center of the crack. I'm glad to know that there was a reason. I remember the old Ford windshields growing up would ALWAYS have a crack start over on the passenger side bottom, and it'd go up maybe 4-5" and travel across to the driver, and then go straight up. I was afraid that this was some sort of goofy thing like that.
