The Italian Job was a pretty good car movie. Does Blues Brothers count? Some good stunt scenes too, well before CGI.
The movie Rush was excellent about Niki Lauda. Days of Thunder was just Top Gun on the race track, but entertaining enough. What about Cars, the cartoon. Oh, Oh! I know, Chitty, Chitty, Bang, Bang! How about Talledega Nights?
