You learned that looks weren't everything, it was how it was built & the work it would do.
But, that was then.
I wish more people had this type thinking. But I know that's a different thread. Played with Tinkertoys, Lincoln Logs, and Lego sets as a kid. Always desired more detailed parts to build things with. It was very frustrating as a boy to not be old enough to use big power tools like dad did.
