| I've fed mixed groups of rams and ewes for years with no problems. BUT I try to get them to market before maturity and also this is during the summer when the heat keeps their activity level more in check. As such riding has not been a major problem for me.
I'd talk to your intended buyer or the sale barn that you plan to sell them at and see what they say is desired in your area with regards to intact rams. At that weight, any kind if castration is going to set them back and cost you money. It's just hard to say how much... | |
