We have a Bosch and it has served us well. A extended warranty came with it and we did use it. The circuit board went out before it was 2 years old. It has been ok since.
What ever you buy. Get the extended warranty. They don't make any appliance to last.
Is the Maytag still working? If so, run it until it falls apart.
