I believe it's Kreitsmar (sp) that has or had a guarantee on the back of the label that said if it wasn't the best you ever had, you could send in the label and receipt and get a refund. It was good.
Several years ago, there was a restaurant on the South side of Springfield that had beef liver on the buffet one day. (We used to soak it in buttermilk and fry it with onions.)
I overheard one guy ask the waitress what it was.
"If I tell you, you won't eat it" was her reply. | |
