Subject: RE: Constant Pressure well pumps?

Installed one this year to primarily run the vineyard irrigation system(up to 30gpm). It's a Pentek Intellidrive for a 5hp submersible pump. Works well. Did have a bad sensor when installed that was quickly replaced. Goulds also makes a decent system. Two things that are important. One is that you want to make sure the controller matches well with your well motor and pump, and secondly, make sure the controller box has sufficient space around it to remain cool. The later in my case is related to the controller taking single phase and transforming to triple phase for the 5hp pump motor and it does generate heat.
