Manitoba, Canada | You will do yourself a favour buying the one in the best condition no matter what transmission it has in it. The basic design is very, very good. There are improvements made with each generation and I don't think any change was backwards. In general you do have to pay more though. The nice thing about those tractors is that they are long lived and if you buy any series right you can easily upgrade several years down the road for very little money. They just plain hold their value.
