Day Co. SD | A mother with a small house probably wrote that.
I quit giving gifts to anyone quite a few years ago. My goal was that hopefully everyone would reciprocate.
I watched a neighbor with no kids do his Christmas shopping for his nieces and nephews one year. He picked out 6 gifts in about 2 minutes. I would almost guarentee the kids spent less than 1 minute looking at them. Watching that made me feel better about my decision.
The times have changed. People did without stuff, so a Christmas gift usually was somthing special. Now nobody goes without much of anything.
If I do give a gift on a rare occassion, it is food or a gift card. | |
