South Georgia | There was a nearly new LG in this house when I bought it, which crapped out after a couple years. Hunted all over looking for somebody to work on it, but couldn't find anybody who would tough an LG. All the advice I got from the repair guys was stay away from the LGs, Samsungs, and GEs. Buy one that looks like a refrigerator, not like a stainless steel computer thing. No circuit boards. Think I ended up with a whirlpool, but not certain. Anyway, it's just a regular refrigerator like they all used to be, freezer on top, ice maker, no dispenser of any sort on the door, no computers. Anything short of the compressor going out will be simply and straightforward to deal with.
