Ohio | Our shop pays us well during the winter. Maintaining all the equipment and building and fabricating ways to do things better and cutting out a lot of dealer expenses on equipment adds up big time for us. Every couple years we usually buy a bigger purchase for the farm (like a planter, truck, or trailer) to build into what we need for the farm. Last winter was building our chemical trailer setup. The winter before that was switching a line bed from our old truck to a newer truck we bought. All these things have made us more efficient and saved us time a money in the long run. It's always nice take my a few weeks off in the winter when it's snowing and blowing. Makes up for working all those 100+ hour weeks | |
