Middle Tennessee | Check the old pump today after fixing the mess that someone else made and wondered how close the pressure switch needs to be to the pressure tank. To clarify, the pump house is about 75 feet from a rental house and the tank which is only used for cattle water is in the basement. The question is can I put the pressure switch in the pump house and the pressure tank 75 feet away in the basement?
