We've never owned a red combine that didn't slip when running corn. Take the bolts out that tighten the slip clutch and cut just a little (quarter inch) off of the long spacers. Retighten up as tight as you can get them when you put it back together. We've always had to do this. Slowing down when getting about full is out of the question and this is a pretty quick fix. Also, don't ever grease it.
Sorry but forgot just adding extra washers didn't always fix the problem.
