We loaded with an auger over the ditch today, Farm king 10"x70' barely spans the ditch so yeah ditches vary by region :-). We have every things around here, from fields level with the road, to "ditches that are nothing more than a plow furrow, to ditches that are 20' deep and probably 60' wide at the top.
