Morris, IL
We have or had all of those besides CRP. And no the tree lined road we didn't trim them but we also didn't own that farm either. Anything we can will have all trees removed if possible. Mow around fields and waterways and such just as much. We are 5 miles from river so have creek across almost every farm.

We mow some pretty steep ditches, ROPS now is much safer then years past. Had an AC D17 diesel mower for years, I think that thing could mow a mountain side. Anything too steep and creek banks gets hit with sickle bar mower. Been this way in my family since coming over from Norway.

I look around seeing fence rows and now even ditches turn to weeds and tree lines and just makes me sick, I know just how much work they are to remove. I just don't get it, take week out of your life 2-3 times a year to keep them down, what a shame.
