s.c. north dakota | just worked some calves today, the calves would stand in a bunch for awhile and if nobody pressured them one would usually get nosy and try the alley, most of the time with one right behind him or beside him. I helped my neighbor work calves in a single alley, sure seemed slow, but I'm used to being at the chute and not filling the tub. our double will hold 6-7 calves and his held 2, that makes a difference when they follow each other in. | |
