Did you find it cracked your Lentils more with the speed up kit?  I put one on our 9600 late last fall (after doing lentils) and I liked it, except it howled more.

But this fall I was getting more splits than I liked and I couldn't seem to cure it, I wondered if it was the speed up kit.  I should have swapped it back to see but never did.

It was pretty dry here at harvest and the Lentils were really dry, maybe that was it. 

It was an improvement in Durum and Barley though.
