If the farmers bins are full and the price is cheap but the farmers wont sell it then the hog farmers in the south will buy it from Brazil and ship it in. That would be a US market that the farmers could lose because they where not willing to sell it for that price. It would be a lot easier to lose an export market to some other county that the US market but both can happen. I don't think we have ever seen a good market when the farmers are holding the majority of the corn and I don't think that is going to change. |
