Swift Current, Sask | Yes it would work well in the wheat. Found the combine runs smoother, doesn't growl like it used to. I noticed it especially in the way the chopper spread the straw. Where it would come out "lumpy" or uneven before, now the chopper will run consistantly full.
I would think it would help in soybeans to leave it on. We grow field peas which are similar to beans, and it really helped when the plants weren't fully mature. I don't know if it would make a difference in corn. | |
