North Mississippi Delta / Alabama Gulf Coast | The old 20+ yr old disk has broke again, repairable but a major fix. Needed to disk ahead of grain drill (if we ever get any rain) to plant wheat cover on bean ground and some Deer Fields.
I picked up a 2422 Heavy duty disk at Lowery Mfg. that will work just fine for my needs.
I was checking the bolts (most needed snugged up) and noticed the gangs are not mounted equally.
It has 3 adjustment holes so gangs can be very aggressive to medium, but will not go straight like the old disk.
What I am thinking is that the rear gangs should line up with the middle of the front gangs to cut evenly and not leave any ground not cut.
Is my thinking correct?? I can post pictures if it would help.
TIA
