I don't know much about goats but have been researching them to do something like you are proposing. I've been reading that some breeds really take to the brush and others kinda stay more in the pasture? I would think if they're stay in the brush type you could run 1.5-2 goat or more for every cow. Easy to de stock them after the browse starts to dissappear.

How do you keep goats in in this kinda situation? Is there an existing woven wire fence or are you putting one up or using e-fence? If efence how many strands and how do you set it off from the existing fence?
