Macon, IL		Not sure how much 30 foot centers is going to get you-if you are going to do that may as well tile it.....

What about a couple years of Rye after crops come out. Supposed to send down roots 5-6 feet or something like that.

Maybe try each on a couple acres and see what your results are before committing to entire field-sounds expensive.
