If you see decent repeatability among same treatments from rep to rep thats one indication you are onto something. Also good to run these 3-4 years. Time goes by quick and before long you've got a nice data set. OR way more questions to further study! I know from reading on here that most guys can't wrap their head around this idea of on farm replicated trials. I think it was Paul the Original made some comment that we can't wait 25 years to get plot data...

Carrie Laboski - UW Soils gave a talk last winter about how to set up on farm trials. ANYONE can do it. Randomly replicate your treatments 3 or 4 times and see what happens. I pick my plot lineups by shaking coins for each rep. Anyway, she also gave a couple links to online stats programs. Even us challenged math folks can use them.
