I enrolled all of my ground along creeks and sloughs in the crp filter strips program. I also put the field edges where water leaves the fields in cp-33. It's only a matter of time before we are required to do it everywhere so we might as well get used to it.


You at least get a program. MN just has to give up the land unless circumstances are perfect. Some places were allowed to enroll the buffer into CRP but, it had to be a wider strip than what the buffer law states. Along with a bunch of other stipulations.

Also. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WATER AND EVERYTHING TO DO WITH HUNTING. It was that way from day one.
