I thought you had to have documentation from the manure source stating they didn't add or know of any banned substances?? The crop residues of gmo's is ok per da rules, as well as the feeding of gmo feed to the cattle, but the herbicide residue I would think would be a big ole red flag.
When the inspector comes for the annual inspection at the farm you would think he would see the dead spots in the field??
If I was selling the manure I could say I didn't know of any banned substances even though more than likely they are there.
This is my issue with this whole process, it's not a truly non chemical non gmo source of fertilizer. How is that organic? How can that not be against da "organic" rules?
