In Ohio, we are taxed on wooded land just like tillable acres. Yet we are not permitted to clear this land and farm it according to nrcs. Lots of questions to be answered on the future of cauv formula but if you listened to governor John, he's lowered taxes in Ohio. Not sure how these new schools make better schools, maybe paying the best teachers more would make better schools.
