If not much for broadleaf weeds in the rye I would drill the beans and spray roundup and 3-3.5 oz of Fierce the next day. I have sprayed both ahead of the drill and behind it in the past. I get better residual control spraying after the drill. Spraying ahead of the drill, the first weeds to emerge were always in the drill row where the soil was disturbed. Patrick
