Subject: RE: no till planting straight or angle

North Central Ia
I angle plant at a 5degree from old corn rows. Residue managers pretty well take care of unit ride. Main reason we do it is makes strip tilling next fall easier as not trying to stay off or follow old bean rows. Haven't seen any difference yield wise on the beans straight or angled.
Do some custom stripping for guys with out auto steer so I encourage them to angle beans to make it easier to follow strips freehand.
