We use liberty/rely in our vineyard. It will burn the foliage that it touches but not the woody stuff. So as long as your below the foliage of the tree you are good to go. Aim works well for broad leaves but again will burn the foliage if you get it on it.

That being said, both products listed provide excellent sucker control so we tend to treat along the base of the plant regardless.

For grass any of the usual suspects are OK. We use clethodim for grass control. Doesn't hurt the tree/vines at all.
