| We had a Lundeen cab on the JD 1971 2520D. It had sliding doors on both sides and they opened from front to back. I think that Rich was mistaken on saying that a Hiniker cab had a folding door. The only ones I have seen the door opens to the outside just like the Year-A-Round I have on a 1969 4020 and you could hardly tell the difference between the Hiniker and YAR as was stated they both were from Mankato.MN. The good parts about the early cabs is they somewhat stopped some of the wind from blowing you away doing cold job in the early spring and late fall. They certainly were not very quite. Forty years ago I ran one of those cabs from Pipestone MFG and I think my ears are still ringing . | |
