You are 100% right about trying and failing versus never trying and regretting it for the rest of my life! To clarify this farm pastures 150-200 acres for the milkers and youngstock and hays 600-700 acres for haylage and round bales. Its is in the Northeast part of the US. Everyone is recommending drawing up a contract and giving it a shot, but what kind of contract are you speaking of? Just for reference, I am estimating the farm, equipment, and cattle are valued around $3 million and my net worth at this point is roughly $250,000 in cash and assets. Also, I don't have a wife or kids, just a dog.
